A nuclear power plant is a facility for the generation of power through the super heating of steam, much like any other power plant, but in this case through the heat generated by a nuclear reaction.

nuclear power plant or nuclear reactor is a plant where the process of nuclear fission takes place.nuclear fission is a process in which large nucleus is converted into daughter nuclei by the bombardment of neutron with the emission of huge amount of energy in the form of heat. basically this energy released in a reaction is used to generate electricity.
