 4(2g+3h)+5(g-4h)

solution:-

8g+12h+5g-20h

Arrange the variables 

8g+5g+12h-20h

13g-8h     (In addition or subtraction we should use bigger no. sign in answer)

Step 1: Open parentheses by multiplying number outside the parentheses by the number inside:

4(2g + 3h) + 5(g-4h) = 8g + 12h + 5g - 20h

 

Step 2: Combine like terms

8g + 5g + 5g - 20h = 13g - 18h
