What is Micro and Macro economics ?

Posted in Economics, asked by Furqan Ali, 6 years ago. 1851 hits.

Microeconomics is the study of particular markets, and segments of the economy whereas macroeconomics is the study of the whole economy.

Microeconomics looks at issues such as consumer behaviour, individual labour markets, and the theory of firms whereas macroeconomics looks at ‘aggregate’ variables, such as aggregate demand, national output and inflation.
