Triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEF.

Therefore, AB/DE=BC/EF = AC/DF.

Given AB=14.2cm,DE=10cm,

therefore AB/DE = 1.42.

BC/EF = 1.42.

EF=11cm

BC=EF*1.42=11*1.42=15.62cm.

AC/DF=1.42

AC=16cm,

DF=AC/1.42=16cm/1.42=11.26cm

Triangle ABC similar to triangle DEF.

Given

 AB = 14.2 cm

DE = 10 cm

Therefore,

AB / DE = BC / EF  =  AC / DF

AB / DE = 14.2 / 10 =  1.42

BC/EF = 1.42

EF=11cm

BC =  EF x 1.42 = 11 x 1.42 = 15.62 cm.

AC / DF = 1.42

AC = 16cm

DF = AC/1.42

= 16cm/1.42

= 11.26cm.
