AVERAGE IS A MIDDLE POINT OF ANY SERIES OR MID VALUE OF TOTAL DATA. WE CAN FIND AVERAGE TO ADD ALL NUMBER AND DIVIDED BY TOTAL NUMBERS YOU HAVE IN DATA

EXAMPLE:

2, 3 ,4 ,5 , 7, 9

AVERAGE = ∑ x / n

ΣX = SUM OF DATA OR NUMBERS

n = TOTAL NUMBERS OR FREQUENCY

AVERAGE = 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 7 + 9 = 30 ( SUM OF ALL NUMBERS OR DATA )

TOTAL NUMBERS IN COUNT OR FREQUENCY = 6

AVERAGE = 30 / 6

AVERAGE = 5

WE CAN FIND AVERAGE BY SOME OTHERS METHODS LIKE ARITHMETIC MEAN, MODE, MEDIAN. THESE ARE THE METHOD OF FINDING AVERAGE.

Let there are n numbers, if you want to find the average of those n numbers, just add those numbers and divide the sum by n.

ie s=sum of your n numbers.

then average= s/n

Let there are 5 numbers, 2,5,1,6,9

then n=5

s=23

average = s/n=23/5=4.6
