a) f(2) = 2(2) = 4
b) g(3) = 3(3) + 1 = 10
c) fg(x) = 2(3x + 1) 
   fg(2) = 2(7) = 14
d) g(f(x))=h(x) = 3(2x) + 1 = 6x + 1
