Q1: (x^4)^5 --multiply the two exponents, 4 x 5= 20 --> it will be x^20 Q2: 2 (b^6)^4 --solve for (b^6)^4 , then multiply it to 2. --> 2 (b^6(^4)) --> 2 (b^24) = 2b^24
